Roller Rebels home bouts April 13, 27

Looking for a unique weekend activity you can bring the whole family to? The Gainesville Roller Rebels are playing two home games this month on April 13 and April 27.

On Saturday, April 13, the Swamp City Sirens and the Millhopper Devils home teams, both made up of GRR skaters, will face off for GRR’s first game of the season! And on Saturday, April 27, GRR will take on longtime rivals Tallahassee Roller Derby! You won’t want to miss these hard-hitting games.

Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door. Kids 12 and under get in FREE! Purchase tickets online at tinyurl.com/grrApril13 (April 13) or tinyurl.com/grrApril27 (April 27), or in person at Loosey’s Downtown (120 SW 1st Ave).

Doors open at 6pm and the action starts at 6:30pm. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.

Win big in the Roller Rebels raffle! Raffle proceeds will go to local charities. On April 13, GRR will be supporting the Human Rights Coalition of Alachua County, and on April 27 they’ll be supporting St. Francis House, as well as hosting a collection drive for CampOUT: LGBTQ+ Youth Summer Camp. CampOUT will be collecting sharpies, electrolytes, water bottles, and twin bed sets (items may be new or used).

After the game, join our afterparty at Loosey’s Downtown.

Roller derby wouldn’t exist without volunteers and officials. The Gainesville Roller Rebels love their volunteers, and have a lot of different ways to show it.

Volunteers get free admission on the day of the bout, free food at the after party, and a free raffle entry. Volunteers also receive GRR swag after volunteering at multiple home bouts. If you’re interested in volunteering, fill out the form at https://tinyurl.com/VolunteerForGRR2024.
